
Gerontology, Minor
The Gerontology minor provides an opportunity for the multidisciplinary study of the biological, psychological, and social/policy aspects of aging over the life course. The minor helps to prepare students from any major to work with older adults in a number of professional settings, including human services, counseling, health care, and business settings.
What Can I Do with this Minor?
By minoring in Gerontology, students from a variety of majors gain knowledge and skills relevant to working with older adults. Students will have the opportunity to distinguish themselves for future employers and graduate schools in age-related fields.
